We have been experts in materials handling for almost thirty years. Over this period we have undergone a revolution, grown our market radically, rewarded our customers with many positive surprises and become an extremely reliable supplier with respect to delivering on time.
The journey started way back in the 1980s when the foundations for the current day Wenco were laid. From the very beginning our business was focused on sales of storage fixtures to builders' merchants and related companies handling timber products. The major new product of that era was Wenco Timber Roll Racking that we introduced to the market. It was a revolution in relation to how timber packages had previously been stored. Since that time we have been the leading supplier on the market with a collective experience that our competitors have great difficulty matching.
Our customers have benefited greatly from this expertise when reconfiguring or creating new storage facilities. They gain access to a wealth of previous implemented solutions, which serve as confirmation that what we propose will also work. This gives them peace of mind and confidence - which results in long-term, fruitful business relations.
Sometimes we have to think a little extra in order to solve a specific problem a customer may have. We are more than happy to do this. Even though our products are often modules, the will is always there to cater for each individual and unique customer need.
We eagerly embrace the entrepreneurial spirit. This applies equally to creativity and driving force too. Our employees are accomplished and committed professionals who are proud of their knowledge and their ability to deliver quality each and every day.
Ask and we will answer:
"The products must keep what they promise, they have to do their job, solve a need in a warehouse. And where possible we plan to surpass customer expectations making them feel extra proud of their investment. And quality is of course meeting the delivery deadline."
Deliver on time. Obviously. It is a great help having control over the entire chain from production to assembly. We frequently deal with customers in the single-line retail chain who invest heavily ahead of a new opening. There is no scope to change an opening date or finish up the installation afterwards. Our fixtures never turn up late. When they have to be on site, they are on site. This is one of the reasons why our customers like doing business with us. They think we are decent, pleasant people, straightforward and uncomplicated. More understanding and flexible. A certain pride disseminates within a family business. And this is exactly how we want to be perceived. But we always remember to be humble even though our self-confidence may be sky high.
There is still a lot of work to do. And this applies to treating customers just as well as we process the material that enters the factory. Listen a little extra hard. It's better to ask one question too many than one too few. Keep what you promise. Put simply - show that we care.
