COMPACT SYSTEM
WITH HIGH PICKING EFFICIENCY
Push back racking is used for deep storage of high-frequency pallet goods. It is a compact system and the pallets are retrieved according to the FIFO principle, i.e. First In, First Out. Loading in and out operations are separate from each other. The pallets are loaded at the rear edge and run on conveyors through the racking to the front where they are offloaded. The picker has access to a large number of items in a small area making picking efficiency high.
Can also be constructed as Push Back racking with both loading in and out at the front of the racking. Even in this case the pallets run on conveyors and when loading the forklift push the existing pallets backwards in the racking. The goods are retrieved in accordance with the LIFO-principle, i.e. Last In, First Out.
